Your Dosha, Your Medicine — An Ayurvedic Kitchen Workshop
Saturday July 25, 2026 10:15am - 11:30am EDT
What if the most powerful thing you did this weekend happened in the dining hall?

Ayurveda, the ancient science of life, has been teaching us how to eat, live, and thrive in harmony with nature for over 5,000 years. And it starts with one simple question: who are you?

In this part workshop, part cooking demo experience, we invite you into the delicious intersection of self-knowledge and nourishment. Whether you are completely new to Ayurveda or have been living by your dosha for years, this session will meet you exactly where you are and leave you with tools you will actually use.

We will explore the three doshas, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, and what it means to eat in alignment with both your unique constitution and the season you are living in. July is peak Pitta season, and the land, the heat, and your body are all asking for the same thing: cooling, grounding, and ease.

Together we will explore a vibrant summer menu designed to do exactly that, a gluten free, plant based meal that can be simply adapted for every dosha. Then walk straight to the table and taste everything you just learned.
You will leave with a dosha self assessment, seasonal eating principles, and take home recipe cards to bring this wisdom straight into your own kitchen.

String Your Intentions — Mala Making Workshop (Additional Cost)
Saturday July 25, 2026 12:00pm - 1:00pm EDT
Create a personalized 108-bead mala for japa meditation, mantra, or daily wear. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided through the process of building your own mala while connecting it to intention, practice, and personal meaning.

A mala is more than a beautiful piece of jewelry. It is a wearable intention, a tactile reminder of what you are calling into your life, and a tool for meditation and mantra that has been used for thousands of years.
In this hands on workshop you will craft your own 108 bead mala from scratch, choosing beads that speak to you and stringing them together with intention and care. Your instructor will guide you through the significance of the mala, how to use it for meditation and mantra practice, and how to infuse each bead with meaning as you create.
Begin your mala in the workshop and carry it with you throughout the weekend, completing it in the energy of Camp Kula with support available as you need it. By the time you leave on Sunday your mala will be finished, blessed, and ready to accompany you home.

Please note this workshop requires an additional materials fee of $108 payable directly to Jack Utermoehl. This fee also includes Jack's time to work with you throughout the festival weekend to help you complete your mala with personal instruction.

Nature Toolkit — A Mindfulness Immersion with Kaitlin
Sunday July 26, 2026 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
Step outside. Look up. Breathe.
At Camp Kula, nature is not just the backdrop. It is the teacher. And in this 60 minute immersive experience with Kaitlin of Taking Root, you will learn how to truly receive what it has to offer.
Through guided mindfulness, sensory-based practices, intentional movement, and a grounding tea ritual, this session invites you to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with the natural world that surrounds you. The towering pines, the earth beneath your feet, the sound of wind moving through the trees. All of it becomes medicine when we know how to listen.
This is not just a nature walk or a meditation class. It is a practical, embodied experience designed to regulate your nervous system, deepen your awareness, and strengthen your connection to yourself, to this community, and to the land that holds us all this weekend.
You will leave with a take home toolkit of nature-based practices to carry with you long after Camp Kula ends, simple but powerful tools for finding your ground wherever life takes you.
Come ready to slow down, open your senses, and let the mountains meet you right where you are.
