Come Alive — Opening Flow with Laura Erickson | Kula Yoga Fest Founder
Friday July 24, 2026 4:30pm - 5:45pm EDT
You made it to Camp Kula!
Unpack your bag, silence the notifications, let yourself arrive, settle in, and RECEIVE!
Laura Erickson has been tending the roots of Kula Yoga Fest since the beginning, and this year she is stepping onto the mat alongside you to open the weekend the way it was always meant to begin: together, breathing, moving, and remembering the loving essence that we are.
We begin in a circle. Rooted, connected, held. From there we rise together through creative vinyasa, mudra, kriya, and breathwork set to grounding and enlivening music, with moments of playful connection, arms linked and hearts wide open, before returning to the earth to rest and receive it all.
The door to transformation, expansion, and peace is wide open. Let's walk through it together starting NOW!

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra
Friday July 24, 2026 7:00pm - 8:15pm EDT
You made it. Now let it all go.

Whether you drove hours or simply carried the weight of a full week through the door, this is your permission to be held, nurtured and sink into the magic of Kula!

This class will begin with Restorative Yoga, using an abundance of props—bolsters, blankets, and blocks—to fully support your body in gentle, long-held postures. These passive asanas allow your muscles to soften and physical tension to peel away without effort. You will then be guided through Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep), a guided meditation that leads you into the space between consciousness and your subconscious.

You will lie in total comfort as you are narrated through an inner journey with one of Chetana's original one-of-a-kind scripts (drawn from books, great speeches, and her own wandering thoughts mid-run). The sounds & vibrations of crystal bowls will be filtering in and out as they echo through the stunning post-and-beam Ogontz Hall.
You will leave feeling grounded, replenished, and deeply at peace.

Candlelight provided. Props provided. All levels welcome.
No experience is needed, no movement is involved. Come in comfortable clothes.

Some reflections from some students who attended a sound bath with yoga nidra lead by Chetana:

I noticed that the sound almost flooded/filled my brain, expelling all thoughts in the moment I didn’t realize this, but when reflecting I noticed it. It also didn’t happen all at once, it was very gradual and allowed my mind to drift away from everything.

I noticed the way the sound moved through my body and the way it rested in my chest. I was aware of my thoughts and worries and stress, but they felt so much more distant than usual.

"I truly experienced and engaged in this meditation, and it was incredible and a little terrifying how much an effect it had on me.

'A tranquil experience. My mind and body were so relaxed and at peace during the sound bath. Chetana is truly gifted with her magical healing energy.'
