Katie Farinas
Yoga Teacher & Dharma Guide
Host of The Midlife Purpose Project Podcast
Katie Farinas is a yoga and meditation teacher, dharma coach and podcaster, devoted to helping others reconnect with themselves, their soul's purpose, and the sacredness of being alive.
After years of knowing yoga as something that only lived on the mat, Katie discovered its deeper power during one of the darkest seasons of her life. She came to experience yoga as far more than movement or exercise, but as a profound science and system for healing, self-understanding, and liberation — a path that guided her out of darkness and into a deeper relationship with herself, with life, and with the sacred. Through its philosophy and practices, she learned to meet life’s challenges with greater presence, derive meaning from pain, and lead with her heart.
Before stepping fully into this work, Katie spent years as a nurse, an experience that continues to shape the way she holds space for others — with compassion, steadiness, and deep respect for the complexity of being human.
At the center of Katie’s teaching is dharma: the understanding that each of us has a unique path, a unique essence, and a unique way we are meant to serve. She believes that living our dharma is one of the most profound aspects of yoga practice, because it invites us into deeper alignment with who we truly are and calls us to offer our gifts in service of something larger than ourselves. When we live in this way, we experience greater meaning, clarity, and fulfillment — and the world is changed by the presence, purpose, and heart we bring to it.
This is the heart of Katie’s work as a teacher and guide: helping others slow down, listen deeply, remember who they are, and uncover the path of purpose, service, and inner freedom already living within them.
